Labor-Management Committee
A group of classified employees who meet with district administrators about every six-weeks to discuss problems in the workplace. Both parties work together to solve the problems.
Elections Committee
A couple of members who accept and confirm the nominations of officers, and conduct chapter elections according our chapter constitution.
A new committee is formed in February every year. We are currently looking for a couple of members to serve on this vital committee. If you would like to serve on this committee, contact the chapter president.
Reclassification Committee
A group of classified employees who meet with district administrators to consider reclassification request from classified employees. The committee is convened after an employee makes a reclassification requests.
The chapter maintains a list of chapter members who are willing to serve on this committee. If you would like to serve on this committee, contact the chapter president.
Insurance Committee
A group of classified employees who meet with GBSD school district representatives to review and make changes to our health plans and other benefits. This committee is usually convened when our plans need to be reviewed.
